Mechanical Engineering deals with an area of science and technology that involves mechanical work pertaining to design and production of devices, machines, processes and conversion systems. Since all manufactured products are made of solid material, Mechanical Engineers are involved in the structural integrity and material selection for almost every product in the market.

We train the students both in theory and practical work in the various areas of Mechanical Engineering such as Machine Design, Stress Analysis, Theory of Machines, Measurements and Automatic Control, Thermodynamics, Thermal Machines, Power Plant Engineering, Manufacturing Processes, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering etc.
